US Airways Sends a Lucky Red Cross Volunteer to the Super Bowl
The US Airways Super Bowl ticket donation is a substantial gesture of support and appreciation to our volunteers, said Kay W. Wilkins, American Red Cross South Louisiana Region CEO.

One lucky Red Cross volunteer had the experience of a lifetime on Super Bowl Sunday. As recognition for the contributions of Red Cross volunteers in communities, US Airways provided two Super Bowl tickets to the winner of a drawing held among more than 1800 South Louisiana Region Red Cross volunteers.

US Airways’ MSY Station Manager Bryan Smith joined Kay W. Wilkins, American Red Cross South Louisiana Region CEO, to select the winner from a drawing.

The winning volunteer, Yevgeniy Katsnelson, received two tickets to Super Bowl XLVII in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

“The US Airways Super Bowl ticket donation is a substantial gesture of support and appreciation to our volunteers,” said Kay W. Wilkins. “Our volunteers give their time by responding to emergencies anytime time day or night. We are thankful to US Airways for providing our lucky volunteer with a wonderful reward for his service.”

“We are incredibly appreciative of US Airways for its ongoing dedication and membership in the American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP), which enables the Red Cross to respond immediately to the needs of individuals and families impacted by disaster anywhere in the United States,” Wilkins said.
