Wyoming/Susquehanna Chapter seeking Everyday Hero Nominations
Everyday Heroes are everyday people who live, work and play in our community.

The Wyoming and Susquehanna Chapters of the American Red Cross are now accepting nominations for their first Everyday Heroes Awards which will be held October 17, 2013 at Elk Lake High School in Dimock.

Everyday Hero nominations are being sought in all categories including: Good Samaritan, Firefighter, Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Medical, Military and Pet Rescue.

Everyday Heroes are everyday people who live, work and play in our community. They can be family, friends, or neighbors who have performed the extraordinary deed of rescue and/or saving a life. Nominees must be a resident of Susquehanna or Wyoming County. The heroic act must have been performed between January 1 and December 31, 2012.

Nomination forms can be obtained by calling (570) 836-2626 or (570) 278-1427. Forms can also be picked up at the Chapter offices located at 3880 SR 6, Tunkhannock or 18 Public Ave., Montrose.
