In addition to the sheltering and mental health services the Red Cross provided in Orland, Red Cross Regions in Southern California are working with the affected school districts and other community organizations to assist those involved in the crash and their families.

Beginning immediately, families affected by this tragedy can call the Red Cross hotline for assistance: 1-800-540-2000. Impacted families, no matter where they live in California, may call this number for help to be connected to resources in their local Red Cross chapters.

Red Cross caseworkers will be available to meet with families who may need assistance with travel or transportation expenses, additional mental health support or counseling, and who may have incurred significant expenses related to the accident.
