Red Cross Offers Free Disaster Preparedness Workshops

Get a Kit, Make a Plan, and Be Informed.

Earthquakes, regardless of magnitude, remind us about the importance of being prepared, the two recent jolts that struck Southern California this week have many thinking about the steps they can take to be better prepared for the “Big One.”

The American Red Cross, along with its community partners, will offer a FREE disaster preparedness workshop. The one-hour workshop, open to the public and targeting seniors and caregivers will demonstrate the three ways to prepare for disasters: Get a Kit, Make a Plan, and Be Informed. Participants will also receive a personal first-aid kit, while supplies last.
