For its significant and comprehensive partnership with the American Red Cross, the American Red Cross Silicon Valley Chapter recognized Leon Harman, Harman Management Corporation and the Silicon Valley KFC restaurants with the prestigious American Red Cross Chairman’s Council Award at the March 8, 2013 Petals of Hope Gala.
This well deserved award is given not only in recognition of the significant philanthropic support of Leon W. “Pete” Harman, but also for the noteworthy efforts of KFC restaurants in collaborating with the Red Cross.
“KFC has shown remarkable and ongoing support of our local Red Cross chapter,” said Margot Harrigan, Director of Corporate Partnerships. “KFC has provided meals in local emergencies, and has generously contributed financial assistance in support of national and international Disaster Relief Operations.”
The American Red Cross is only able to provide its services through working with generous donations and supporters like Harman Management and the Silicon Valley KFC restaurants.
