These local foundations provide significant support in the form of grants to the American Red Cross Monterey Bay Area Chapter. These grants provide important funding for much of our work in the local community including; disaster relief, community disaster preparedness education, volunteer recruitment and training and disaster equipment. We appreciate their commitment to the community and the work of their local Red Cross.
The Monterey Peninsula Foundation with funding from the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tournament has supported our Red Cross chapter since 2000 with significant funding for our local programs.
The Harden Foundation gives generous support to the Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Program in Monterey County. This free program provides disaster preparedness classes to adults and children in English and Spanish targeting vulnerable populations throughout Monterey County.
The Community Foundation for Monterey County supports the work of the Red Cross in Monterey County. The Robert & Virginia Stanton Endowment helps fund capital improvement projects such as our disaster trailer repair and refurbishment project. The Community Impact Grant provides core support to train our Red Cross volunteers to prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies.
The Community Foundation for San Benito County supports the work of the Red Cross in San Benito County providing general support towards disaster relief and disaster preparedness programs for the communities in San Benito County.
