CHEYENNE, WY, 10 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2015, — UPDATE - The American Red Cross shelter at the Niobrara Fair Grounds remains open to support people affected by flooding in the Lusk, WY area. The shelter is located on U.S. Highway 20 in Lusk, Wyo.
Forty-five people received comfort and support at the shelter in Lusk overnight.
The Red Cross of Wyoming will continue to provide support at the shelter location and in other areas of Wyoming affected by flooding. On Saturday, teams will be in the towns of Lusk and Buffalo to distribute items that will be useful for home or business clean up. Those items include mops, buckets, brooms, gloves and other cleaning supplies. Our teams will also distribute water and snacks. Meals will be provided at the shelter location in Lusk as needed.
