FARMINGTON, CONN., AUGUST 12, 2013 — The American Red Cross Connecticut Chapter recently announced the election of members to its board of directors. Their terms began July 1.
American Red Cross Connecticut and Rhode Island Region CEO Mario Bruno said the members are part of a 26-person board that provides support and guidance to the Red Cross in Connecticut. “We are fortunate to have the help of these extraordinary leaders who lend their expertise and time to build a strong and effective Red Cross presence in Connecticut.”
The recently elected members are: Susan Beauregard of Westport, Global HR Operations Leader at General Electric; Kevin Charette of Durham, Director, Customer Group at Northeast Utilities; Alice Ferreira of Trumbull, Vice President, Communications at UnitedHealthCare; Walter Fulton of Durham, Principal at Dworken, Hillman, LaMorte, Sterczala, P.C.; Elizabeth Gagne of Avon, Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, Business Insurance at Travelers; James Gessner of Waterford, Vice Chairman of The Mohegan Tribe; Carl Johnson of Farmington, Managing Partner at BlumShapiro; Mark Modzelewski of Westport, Principal at MJM Associates; Diane Pivirotto of Stratford, Vice President, Human Resources at UIL Corporation; Peter Wise of Westerly, RI, and Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Founder, Ouidad; and Kris Yeager of Monroe, Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis at Philip Morris Capital Corporation.
