Red Cross Helps Six People After Enfield Fire

The Red Cross is helping with emergency housing and food needs.

ENFIELD, CONN., January 9, 2015 – The American Red Cross is helping a family of six people with emergency housing and food needs after a fire earlier today on White Street in Enfield. Red Cross volunteers Jon Basso, Ginny Brezza and Ginger Flynn responded to assist the residents.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items a resident might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire.
