The American Red Cross in the National Capital Region hosted the 12th Annual Red Tee Golf Tournament last Tuesday, May 19 at The Golf Club at Lansdowne in Lansdowne, Virginia. The event included a full-field of golfers and raised more than $150,000 in funds to benefit the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region; including auctioned-off luxury golf packages at five star resorts at Nemacolin Woodlands in Pennsylvania and Sea Island in Georgia.
As one of the premiere fundraising events in the Washington, D.C. area, the Red Tee tournament fostered awareness and funds to respond to disasters in our community and beyond, when and where needed. The tournament also supported the men and women of the military and their families.
