In Memoriam Joe Luna Disaster Responder Workforce Volunteer

User News Image
Joe had a deep passion for the American Red Cross and those we serve.

Our long-term volunteer and dear friend, Joe Luna, passed away on Sunday night.

Joe and his partner, Jill Franklin, could always be counted upon to help whenever and however needed. They helped the American Red Cross immensely throughout the Houston Metro Area, Texas, and across the nation. Joe had a deep passion for the American Red Cross and those we serve. Both he and Jill drove the Emergency Response Communications Vehicle (ECRV) and the Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) in response to disasters and for community events. They even drove an ERV all the way to New Jersey in response to Hurricane Sandy last year.

Joe will be sorely missed by all those who knew and worked with him. Our love and thoughts are with Jill and their families during this very difficult time.
