Volunteers with the American Red Cross assisted the individual affected by a residential fire that took place yesterday in Nanakuli on Halike Place. Red Cross volunteers met with the resident whose home was damaged to ensure that immediate emergency needs were met and provided assistance with temporary housing, groceries and household goods. Caseworkers will continue to follow up with anyone affected in the coming weeks to provide referrals, guidance or additional assistance as needed to help with the recovery process.
