Pahoa Disaster Services New Volunteer Training

Disasters strike without warning.  How can you help?

The American Red Cross is recruiting disaster services volunteers in the Pahoa Area.  All Disaster Services training is provided free of charge. 

The first step for all new disaster volunteers is to fill out a Volunteer Application Form then take a series of basic disaster classes. 

After submitting your application, follow the steps in blue. When we receive your application, we will contact you about the classes listed below and sign you up if you are able to attend.

We are offering the new volunteer training series at Pahoa High and Elementary, 15-3038 Puna Road, Pahoa, Hawaii 96778 on the following dates:

Disaster Services: An Overview (Saturday, 5/2/15 from 9am-12:30pm)

Shelter Fundamentals (Saturday, 5/2/15 from 1pm-5pm)

Disaster Assessment Fundamentals (Saturday, 5/9/15 from 9am – 12:00pm)

Disaster Action Team Orientation (Saturday, 5/9/15 from 12:30-4:30 pm)
