Red Cross partners with local Girl Scouts

No need to worry about transportation - at the end of cookie sales, the Scouts will deliver all the donated cookies to the Red Cross.

After Valentine's Day, Girl Scout cookie season is the next major hurdle for anyone still attempting a New Year's diet. But this year, thanks to a partnership between the American Red Cross of Greater Idaho and the Girl Scouts of the Silver Sage Council, you can watch your waistline and still help out two worthy charitable organizations.

Tell your local Scout troop you want to buy a box of cookies and donate it to the Red Cross. No need to worry about transportation - at the end of cookie sales, the Scouts will deliver all the donated cookies to the Red Cross.

It's a great way to support both your local Red Cross chapter and your local Scout troop.
