BOISE - On March 31, the Greater Idaho Chapter of the American Red Cross welcomed the public into its new headquarters at 5371 W. Franklin Road.

For 100 years, Red Cross workers, both staff and volunteer, have supported Idaho through times of crisis. We’ve helped our communities prepare for disaster, supported our men and women in uniform and united families torn apart by war.

The new facility will help the Greater Idaho Chapter to continue its service to Idaho residents for the next 100 years. It will host CPR classes and volunteer trainings and serve as a command center during large-scale emergencies.

We wouldn’t be in this new space without the generous support of our donors, including R.C. Willey, Laura Silsby,Matt Hanrahan, MyState USA, the City of Boise IT Department and Will Kemper of CoHo Realty. We’d also like to thank the many volunteers whose hard work made this move possible.
