Red Cross volunteers provided for both family's emergency disaster caused needs.

Last night (August 22, 2013), the Red Cross received a call to respond to an apartment fire in the 700 block of S. Golfcrest in Normal.

The apartment fire, which was blamed on unattended cooking, affected a neighboring apartment and left four individuals homeless. Red Cross volunteers provided for both family's emergency disaster caused needs including food and shelter.
