Tickets are available now for the twenty-first annual American Red Cross of the Heartland Evening of Stars. The event is Wednesday, April 16 at the Marriott Hotel in Uptown Normal. Nik Wallenda, world-renowned high wire aerialist, is the featured speaker.
Nik is the seventh generation of Great Wallendas to perform on the high wire. He began performing professionally at age 13 and currently holds eight world records. His most recent record was earned in June of last year when he became the first person to cross the Grand Canyon on a wire.
Evening of Stars is the chapter’s largest event and provides funding for local Red Cross services. Admission to the event is $150 and tables are set for ten. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a cash bar available. The dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. Attendees may also choose a “Red Carpet Experience” - for $500, couples receive two tickets to Evening of Stars and four tickets to the exclusive Sponsor Reception at Red Bird Arena at 5:30 p.m. on April 15. The offer is limited to 50 couples.

Checks may be made out to American Red Cross of the Heartland with “Evening of Stars” in the memo section and mailed to Evening of Stars Tickets, American Red Cross of the Heartland, One Westport Court, Bloomington, IL 61704.
