Greater Indy Red Cross elects board officers and directors

Red Cross Elects Board Members
The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.

The American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis held its Annual Meeting on July 16, 2014, at the Michael A. Evans Center for Health Services at Marian University in Indianapolis.

In addition to electing board officers and directors, members:

• Recognized the 90+ year legacy of service by board members at the local and national levels of the American Red Cross;

• Celebrated the successful implementation of a new values-based board committee structure dedicated to meaningfully engaging volunteers, donors, and a new generation of diverse leaders in Red Cross service.

• Acknowledged the importance of keeping focused on community needs while addressing business needs; and

• Encouraged each other as they dedicate their energy, time, relationships and donations to provide humanitarian services in Indiana, across the country and around the world.
