Red Cross to Hold Faith-Based Preparedness Workshop

The North Central Kansas Chapter will hold a one-day workshop focused on faith-based preparedness and community involvement

Salina, KS, Monday, March 10, 2014 — The American Red Cross North Central Kansas Chapter will hold a one-day workshop focused on faith-based preparedness and community involvement. The event is free of charge and open to community members involved with a faith-based organization as an employee or an attendee.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 20 at First Covenant Church, located at 2625 E Magnolia Rd., Salina, KS, 67401 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided to attendees.

The session will include presentations from several partners, including Key Note Speaker Rev. Rocky Mease with Lutheran Disaster Services and Ryan Jacobson, Mentoring and Housing Specialist with the Salina Parole Office.
