New, expanded office space in Lemon Creek to better serve Southeast Alaska Red Cross staff, volunteers

JUNEAU, Alaska, February 9, 2018 —The Southeast district office of the American Red Cross of Alaska is relocating from its current facility at 3225 Hospital Drive, Suite 201, to a new facility not far away in the Lemon Creek area by the end of the month.

“We are grateful for the support of our active and growing volunteer base in the Southeast,” said Red Cross of Alaska Chief Executive Officer, Tanguy Libbrecht. “We look forward to continuing to serve the Southeast Alaska community in a space that will better suit our needs and help our staff and volunteers fulfill our mission more efficiently.”

This transition is set to occur by the end of February. The Red Cross does not anticipate any disruption in services provided as it relocates to a new office. We will continue to provide core, humanitarian services including: relief for people affected by disasters and assistance to military families.

“We are grateful for the community support of the work of the Red Cross, and we look forward to continuing to serve the Southeast Alaska community,“ said Libbrecht.
