Red Cross Opens Shelter for Flooding Evacuees in Eagle

EAGLE, ID, May 17, 2017 - The Red Cross has opened a shelter in Eagle, ID. The shelter is located at the Eagle Nazarene Church, 1001 W. State Street, Eagle, ID 83616.

Everyone affected by this disaster is welcome at a Red Cross shelter, including undocumented individuals, and all services are free of charge. Red Cross volunteers are ready to welcome you.

Hot meals, snacks and beverages, beds, and essential supplies will be available. Anyone who is heading to the shelter is encouraged to bring clean clothes, toiletries, medications, bedding, and any other personal items. Evacuation checklists are also available on the Red Cross website at http://www.redcross.org/emergencies/flood

Service animals are welcome at all Red Cross shelters. Pets, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and weapons are not allowed. We will provide the address of a pet shelter as soon as it is available.
