The 5th Annual ‘Teeing It Up for the Red Cross’ golf tournament is right around on the corner on May 29th, 2015. The event, started in 2011, following significant flooding in western North Dakota, raises funds for Red Cross disaster relief. Over $50,000 has been raised in the tournament’s history, which benefit families, friends and neighbors in our community during emergencies.
The event is proudly hosted by Houston Engineering and includes an 18-hole scramble, loaded with games and prizes. Participants even have a chance to ‘Bean the Bozo’ (Bismarck Mayor, Mike Seminary) on the driving range before the event tees off. The tournament will once again be held at Prairie West Golf Course in Mandan, ND. KFYR-TV is the media sponsor for the event.
"We love hosting this event every and are glad to support the Red Cross," said Red Cross board member and Houston Engineering President & CEO, Jeff Ledoux.
