Wayne County Holiday Heroes Toy Drive

Red Cross Flag

The Annual Wayne County Holiday Heroes Toy Drive hosted by the Finger Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross will distribute toys on Friday, Dec. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 400 South Main Street in Newark.

Toys will be available for children through 17 years of age who live in Wayne County. The Red Cross has partnered with several businesses, organizations and individuals to collect toys and gifts for children this holiday season. To receive toys, families must provide proof of Wayne County residency with photo identification and provide a birth certificate for each child who resides in the Wayne County home. In addition to toys, families will receive items for a holiday meal on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Members of the Red Cross Wayne County Advisory Board who coordinate this annual event wish to thank our partners for their generous support. "The holidays are for children and, because of this program, all children in our county will experience the joy of the holidays this season," said co-chair Sallie Fisher.
