Restaurants on Long Island to Donate $1.00 for Every Wisconsin Mac & Cheese Purchased April 14 - 21.

Long Islanders have the opportunity to #help1family and enjoy great food as the American Red Cross on Long Island partners with Noodles & Company for a week-long fundraiser at its five locations on Long Island owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises.

Every 8 minutes the American Red Cross meets a family that has lost everything to a home fire or other disaster. During its second annual Giving Day on Thursday, April 21, 2016, the Red Cross will rally the Long Island public to support the its critical and lifesaving mission of helping families who have been affected by disaster or emergencies. To raise awareness and encourage support, Noodles & Company will donate $1.00 for every purchase of its Wisconsin Mac & Cheese from April 14 through April 21 (regular size only).

“Every year, hundreds of Long Island families turn to the Red Cross for emergency relief following local disasters. We certainly wouldn’t be able to fulfill our mission without the generous support of the community and the giving spirit of our volunteers,” said Elizabeth Barker, interim CEO of the American Red Cross on Long Island. “We are grateful for the generosity of Noodles & Company customers this Giving Day to raise funds that provide vital assistance to people impacted by fires and other disasters.”

The Giving Day donation is valid at Noodles & Company locations owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises in Long Island at The Westbury Plaza in Garden City, Garden City Park in Garden City, Waverly Plaza in Patchogue, Airport Plaza in Farmingdale, and the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
