1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

American Red Cross

2218 Pershing Drive

Austin, TX 78723

In February of 1916, as the United States was preparing to enter into World War I and the need for Red Cross services in communities across the nation was more urgent than ever, the Austin chapter of the American Red Cross received its charter. In the 100 years since, dedicated Red Cross volunteers have selflessly delivered humanitarian services to the Central Texas community.

This year, we are thrilled to celebrate a century of helping our community through disaster relief, services to the Armed Forces, international services, and CPR/first aid training and to honor the volunteers who make it all possible.

Join us on February 6th for a 100th birthday party celebration and open house, complete with 100-foot long birthday cake featuring a timeline of Red Cross milestones.

Festivities will include special guest speakers, refreshments and a video booth to help cature the sentiments of our volunteers for generations to come. Guests are welcome to come and go between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. RSVP today at!
