Red Cross Continues to Help Those Impacted by the Flooding

The American Red Cross continues to serve the communities impacted the devastating flooding that occurred almost two weeks ago throughout West Virginia.   As of July 5th, the American Red Cross including over 800 Red Cross workers from throughout the country have provided over 2,000 overnight stays, facilitated the delivery of more than 130,000 meals and snacks and distributed over 7,500 cleanup kits.

For anyone impacted by the flooding, please call the American Red Cross Disaster Hotline at 1-855-224-2490.

A Red Cross Service Center is where Red Cross Caseworkers meet one-on-one with those impacted by the flooding to provide access to resources and tools to support individual recovery.  Disaster recovery is often measured in months and years; and the Red Cross will be here to provide hope, comfort and one-on-one support during that time.
