American Red Cross of Massachusetts Central Chapter Hosting Holiday Mail for Heroes Program

The Central Chapter of the American Red Cross of Massachusetts is continuing the annual Holiday Mail for Heroes program which empowers the community to “Give Something That Means Something” by sending a card of thanks and support to the members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

Sending holiday mail to American military members, veterans and their families is an easy but meaningful way to give something that means something to our nation’s 2 million service members and 24 million veterans. The cards not only allow communities to express gratitude, but they also provide a “touch of home” to deployed service members and a comforting message to their families and our veterans.

The American Red Cross of Massachusetts is opening event to the public with a card signing and sorting event on Veteran’s Day at the Worcester Community Chapter.  Additionally, community members can donate blank holiday cards, which can be dropped off or mailed to the Worcester Chapter office by November 7th.
