About 12 people were treated to a special viewing of Syria Behind the Lines on Nov. 19, followed by a meaningful discussion featuring someone directly impacted by the conflict.
The American Red Cross of Massachusetts presented “Syria Behind the Lines,” and invited John Foley to speak afterward. Foley’s son James has been missing in Syria since 2012.
Josh Rubenstein, an Associate at Harvard University’s Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies and former Regional Director of Amnesty International, also spoke about the problems in Syria.
The presentation was part of International Services' Film and Forum Series, which explores international issues and conflict across the world.
