The American Red Cross of Cape Cod and the Islands is pleased to announce the 12th Annual Heroes Breakfast will be held on Friday, March 28th at The Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis. We invite you to join us to hear inspiring stories of extraordinary acts performed right in your community.
This year we welcome Cape Air as presenting sponsor and Dan Wolf, CEO and founder of Cape Air as honorary chair. “Cape Air is tremendously excited to be the presenting sponsor for this year’s Red Cross Heroes Breakfast. There are many heroes throughout the Cape and Islands – everyday people who make a difference in the lives of others. That’s what the Red Cross represents – individuals who give of their time and their commitment to assist in the life of this community. We are better because of all these heroes”, said Linda Markham, President of Cape Air.
Returning as Master of Ceremonies will be Geri Denterlein, President and founder of Denterlein and former editorial director at WBZ television.
The Cape Cod & Islands Heroes Breakfast is the only event of its kind: it recognizes heroes throughout our community who perform extraordinary acts of courage by saving someone’s life, helping in the rescue of someone in need, or who has committed countless hours of service to an organization or community. No other event highlights ordinary citizens doing extraordinary things- regardless of the organization or community they serve- and informs us of these amazing people who make this such a special place to live. This event, which has sold out almost every year, has more than 500 people in attendance and receives enormous media coverage due to its special nature. It runs from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. To learn more, visit www.redcross.org/CapeCodandIslands or call (508) 775-1540 to purchase tickets or sponsorships.
