As the people who have been seeking shelter with the American Red Cross have been provided a place to live either temporarily or permanently outside of the shelter, the Red Cross will close the Shelter operation today at 1:00 pm at the St. Robert Community building and begin the focus to open the Multi-agency Relief Center. A central location to provide relief services for those affected by the recent flooding will open Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 10am. Good Samaritan, American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Convoy of Hope and many other local, state, and human service organizations will be providing disaster related assistance and information. This MARC will provide focus on the long term needs of the community as they work toward recovery and rebuilding.
