The foundation’s giving has meant countless disaster victims have received critical help in their darkest hours.

In response to the Midwestern tornadoes that killed seven and destroyed thousands of homes Sunday, the Enterprise Holdings Foundation donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the company that operates Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to all those affected by the storms that tore through the Midwest Sunday night,” said Carolyn Kindle, Executive Director of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation.

In accepting the gift, Cindy Erickson, Regional American Red Cross CEO, noted the foundation’s history of generous giving.

"This donation from Enterprise Holdings Foundation will mean a great deal to those who have lost so much so suddenly," Erickson said. "Enterprise responds to national and international crises with impactful support. The foundation’s giving has meant countless disaster victims have received critical help in their darkest hours.”
