Montana Red Cross Opens Shelter for Missoula Avalanche Victims

Montana Red Cross has opened a shelter for anyone affected by the Mount Jumbo avalanche. The location of the shelter is:

First Baptist Church

308 W. Pine St. (between Woody St and North Orange St)

Missoula

The Red Cross volunteers will be providing hot meals, snacks and beverages, beds, blankets, hot showers, and comfort kits containing toiletries and towels. The Red Cross may also be able to help with other emergency needs. All services are free of charge and everyone is welcome.

In view of current blizzard conditions in the area, please use extreme caution as you make your way to the Red Cross shelter.
