Red Cross New Hampshire Responds to Fire in Woodstock

"American Red Cross New Hampshire has provided immediate financial assistance for food, clothing and lodging to those affected."

American Red Cross New Hampshire’s Disaster Action Team volunteers Jack and Carmen Bishop assisted residents that were affected by a three-alarm fire in Woodstock earlier this morning. The fire, which occurred on School Street, affected six individuals. American Red Cross New Hampshire has provided the six individuals with immediate financial assistance for food, clothing and lodging.

The American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams (DAT) are groups of local volunteers located throughout the state that are specially trained to provide disaster relief and emotional comfort. These volunteers are available to respond at any time of day or night to disasters in their communities or surrounding towns.
