"Totes of Hope" Handed Out at Tri-County Stand Down

Red Cross Services to Armed Forces provided over 140 "Totes of Hope" filled with personal care items donated by communities in the Northeastern New York Region to veterans at the Tri-County Stand Down.

The American Red Cross of Northeastern New York participated in the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Association's Tri-County NY Vets Stand Down (Ulster, Orange & Sullivan Counties) in the Town of Wawarsing, NY at Lippmann Memorial Park. The event was held on 9/12 and 9/13 to support the needs of homeless and low income veterans of all wars and all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces providing services to both male and female veterans.

The American Red Cross Services to Armed Forces provided over 140 "Totes of Hope" filled with personal care items donated by communities in the Northeastern New York Region to veterans at the Tri-County Stand Down. "Totes" were packed during the September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance American Red Cross Totes of Hope community project.
