#PartyWithAPurpose at #RedCrossBASH This Friday!


Base camp is being set up at 786 Delaware Avenue as the American Red Cross, Western New York Chapter is preparing for a #PartyWithAPurpose on Friday! The 18th Annual #RedCrossBASH is June 3, and a limited number of tickets for this one-of-a-kind, military-themed fundraiser are on sale now at www.redcross.org/buffalobash. Tickets can also be purchased in person at Red Cross Headquarters between 9am-5pm all week and at our official BASH outfitters, Paratrooper Army Navy.

4,000 people will wear their best military gear to the American Red Cross headquarters at 786 Delaware Avenue to enjoy food and drink from some of the area’s best restaurants while dancing the night away to the music of DJ Dovey and a homecoming live performance by Orchard Park native and national recording artist, Caitlin Koch. #RedCrossBASH guests will also have the opportunity to bid on dozens of unique auction items donated by members of the Western New York community, including vacations, original works of art, jewelry and much more.

#RedCrossBASH General Admission tickets are $75 each or two for $125, and are available online at www.redcross.org/buffalobash. Each ticket includes two free drink tickets and all the food you can eat. Details on how to receive VIP benefits by enlisting as a BASH sponsor are also available at www.redcross.org/buffalobash. 

General Admission tickets are also available at our official BASH outfitters, Paratrooper Army Navy, 4239 Transit Road in Williamsville. The first 250 tickets sold at Paratrooper come with an exclusive, free BASH t-shirt. Once you have your BASH tickets, the folks at Paratrooper can help you prepare to march on Red Cross headquarters Friday dressed in your military best. 

#PartyWithAPurpose: All proceeds from #RedCrossBASH support Red Cross services in Western New York. This Memorial Day weekend, Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers responded to six separate fires across Western New York, providing food, clothing, shelter and support for 22 people. Volunteers responded to fires at the following dates and locations:

·        Thursday, 5/26: Person Street, Buffalo

·        Thursday, 5/26: Fillmore Avenue, Buffalo
One adult assisted
Volunteers: Nicole Roma and Dennis Scott

·        Friday, 5/27: Tompkins Street, Olean
Four adults and two children
Volunteers: Tammy Gardiner and Jennifer McNeal

·        Monday, 5/30: Grant Street, Buffalo
Four adults assisted
Volunteers: Sharon Daut and Diane Sargent

·        Monday, 5/30: Crescent Street, Jamestown
Two adults and two children assisted
Volunteers: Jason Carmen and Scott Chase

·        Tuesday, 5/31: Willow Avenue, Niagara Falls
One adult and one infant assisted
Volunteers: Emma Fabian and Diane Sargent
