The 10th Annual “Rolling for the Red” to benefit the American Red Cross of Wayne County will be held from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Palmyra VFW, 4306 State Highway 31, Palmyra.
Presented by Exelon Generation and featuring a back to the ‘50s “Shake, Rattle & Roll” theme, Rolling for the Red (formerly called “Vegas Night”) includes table games, live and silent auctions, raffles, door prizes and more. News10NBC reporters Amanda Ciavarri and Berkeley Brean will return as hosts of the event and live auction.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The cost includes hors d'oeuvres, desserts and $20,000 in Barton Bucks to play Beat the Dealer, Blackjack, Craps, Over/Under, Roulette and Texas Hold ‘Em. A cash bar will be available, and attendees are encouraged to wear their poodle skirts, cardigan sweaters and leather jackets to “Shake, Rattle & Roll” like the 1950s!
A limited number of tickets remain. To purchase tickets, click here, call 315-234-2225 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. All proceeds from Rolling for the Red benefit Red Cross programs and services in Wayne County, including preparing the public for disasters and responding to disasters such as house fires and floods.
“This event has always been a fun way for Wayne County residents to support their own community through the work of the Red Cross,” said Joel Robinson, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Finger Lakes Chapter, which includes Wayne County. “Come on out on Feb. 7 – it may be your lucky night!”
