Royal Auto Group Supports March is Red Cross Month
All of our presidents have designated March as Red Cross Month to recognize how the American Red Cross helps people across the country and around the world.

“March is Red Cross Month,” and as part of the celebration the Royal Auto Group in Cortland is making a donation to the Red Cross for every car purchased in March.

Royal, located at 3838 Route 281 in Cortland, carries new and used Chevrolet, Subaru, Nissan and Buick models.

To promote the Red Cross campaign, Western & Central New York Region Chief Executive Officer Rosie Taravella recently filmed a commercial with Joe Reagan, owner of the Royal Auto Group. Watch the commercial and the outtakes.

Why March?

March has been recognized as Red Cross Month for more than 70 years. All of our presidents, including President Barack Obama, have designated March as Red Cross Month to recognize how the American Red Cross helps people across the country and around the world.

The Red Cross responds to nearly 70,000 disasters in this country every year. It also provides 24-hour support to members of the military, veterans and their families at home and around the world; collects and distributes about 40 percent of the nation’s blood supply; and trains millions of people in first aid, water safety and other life-saving skills.

The Red Cross is not a government agency and relies on donations of time, money and blood to do its work. An average of 91 cents of every dollar given to the Red Cross is invested in helping people in need.
