More than 250 people attended the event and it raised $28,000.

American Red Cross in Wood County’s annual Fire & Ice event featuring Bowling Green’s own Clint Corpe and Don Rose as Co – EMCEE’s took place Saturday evening, February 15 at The Clazel in Bowling Green. More than 250 people attended the event and it raised $28,000. The evening honored first responders and community partners while raising funds to support American Red Cross in Wood County disaster relief and preparedness. A special presentation highlighted Blood Services.

Guests danced to live music provided by The Bourbon Street Band, had their Caricatures drawn by local artists, and participated in a dollar dance with Freddie and Frieda Falcon. Hors d’oeuvres were served by several area restaurants and local firefighters participated in a celebrity bartender contest to raise additional funds to support the Red Cross and the Fallen Fighters in Toledo. Attendees participated in a wine and beer raffle to win an iPad mini donated by ATV Food Systems. They also had the opportunity to purchase a corsage for a chance to win a piece of jewelry donated by Vanderhoff Jewelers.
