Country music superstar Trace Adkins is bringing The Christmas Show to Troy, Ohio. Trace will perform at Hobart Arena on Tuesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m.
“Trace serves on the American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet and is a great supporter of our mission”, stated R. Scott Miller, Executive Director of the Northern Miami Valley Chapter.
Adkins was personally affected by a disaster at his Tennessee home when the American Red Cross stepped in to offer assistance to his family. According to redcross.org his family was helped by the organization following a devastating fire.
Adkin’s had this to say about the experience, “When my home was claimed by fire last year, Red Cross volunteers were among the first on site. They looked after my family when I couldn’t be there and offered help.” Adkins continued,” I am supporting the mission of the Red Cross and hope to help them reach more people in need.”
In 2013, Trace competed on Donald Trump’s All-Star Celebrity Apprentice show. Each celebrity contestant on the show was playing for donations for a charity of their choice and Trace chose The American Red Cross. Trace went on to win Celebrity Apprentice and raised over 1.5 million dollars for the organization.
