The American Red Cross is giving prizes to 10 people who download one of the Red Cross Mobile Apps on Sept. 22. This promotion is in partnership with 30 Days, 30 Ways, a disaster preparedness game started by the Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency in 2010. The game challenges participants to complete one simple readiness task each day during National Preparedness Month.
The Sept. 22 challenge asks participants to download a disaster preparedness app, and the American Red Cross offers 10 apps to choose from. To learn more about our apps, click here. Ten people who participate in this Twitter-based contest will be selected at random for prizes, which cover an assortment of Red Cross goodies including vintage first aid kits, sports first aid kits, t-shirts and other items.
1. Download any of the 10 Red Cross apps (note: all apps are FREE except for the pet first aid app). Red Cross apps can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, Google Play or Amazon Marketplace.
2. Take a screenshot of the app once you’ve installed it on your phone or other mobile device.
4. Must live in the United States (for shipping purposes) and upload photo on September 22.
5. Winners will be selected at random and will be contacted at the end of the week.
