Corry Chapter Hosts Blood Drives Throughout the Year

Corry Chapter Hosts Blood Drives Throughout the Year
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood

The American Red Cross provides more than 40 percent of the U.S. blood supply through approximately 600 blood drives across the country each day, including right here in the Corry area. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. To meet this constant demand, chapters throughout the country host blood drives in an effort to support and sustain the organization’s lifesaving mission-to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.

Throughout the next year, the Corry chapter will host several blood drives at the local office, located at 134 East Main Street in Corry. The drives are open to the public and will take place between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. For more information on the donation process or to register for a donation appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org.
