User News Image
This year volunteers and staff delivered 300 holiday baskets to local veterans.

The Tri-County Red Cross recently distributed holiday boxes to men and women who use the chapter’s Veteran’s Transportation Services program to ride the Berks County van to the Lebanon VA hospital.

Veterans had a choice of a small canned ham or turkey, combined with all the trimmings for a holiday feast. Baskets also contained boxed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, crackers, applesauce, and other canned goods - as well as some toiletry items.
