Recently, the American Red Cross Wyoming Valley Chapter held its’ 20th annual Holiday Craft Show at the Armory National Guard in Kingston. The event was held over Thanksgiving weekend and attracted approximately 2,600 people, all eager to start their holiday shopping and help support the American Red Cross.
This year, the craft show was sponsored by four local business organizations. Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania and First National Community Bank were lead sponsors. Air Products was a presenting sponsor and Bath Fitter was a general sponsor. Sherry Nealon-Williams, Executive Director of the Wyoming Valley Chapter said, “We are grateful to all of our sponsors for their commitment and dedication to the Red Cross. With their generous support we were able to provide the community with a wonderful and successful family event.”
Over 110 vendors, in addition to 5 Pennsylvania wineries participated, selling handmade crafts that included: jewelry floral décor, clothing, holiday items and one-of-a-kind artwork. The event raised $32,000 to support the Wyoming Valley Chapter’s quality services and programs, like disaster relief and blood services.
