Red Cross Helps One Person After Cranston Fire

The Red Cross is helping with emergency housing, food and clothing needs.

CRANSTON, R.I., October 14, 2014 – The American Red Cross is helping one person after a fire yesterday on Burbank Street in Cranston. The Red Cross is providing help with emergency housing, food and clothing needs.

Red Cross volunteers Melissa Shires and Stephen Carr responded to assist the resident.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items a resident might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire.
