The American Red Cross of Central SC received a generous donation of $5000 from Hubbell Power Systems Incorporated of Aiken. The funds will be used to support the disaster services programs of the Red Cross throughout the region.
“We are extremely grateful for this donation from Hubbell. They have been a wonderful partner with the Red Cross and we value our relationship with them,” stated Don Cheeks, Chairman of the Aiken Area Board of Directors. “This is an example of corporate citizenship at its best: An organization giving back to their community and to the people that live here.”
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) manufactures a wide variety of transmission, distribution, substation, OEM, and telecommunications products used by utilities. In addition, HPS products are used in the civil construction, transportation, gas, and water industries. Products include construction and switching products, tools, insulators, arresters, pole line hardware, cable accessories, test equipment, transformer bushings, and polymer precast enclosures and equipment pads.
