The American Red Cross of Southeast Tennessee is proud to partner with RaceWay Gas Stations to launch the Fill Up & Fuel Relief program, a fundraising initiative that encourages drivers to fuel up at participating RaceWay Fuel Centers in Southeast Tennessee.
“1 cent of every gallon pumped off the Red Cross logoed pumps at any of these locations will be donated to the American Red Cross for the remainder of 2014,” said Greg Waite, CEO, American Red Cross of Southeast Tennessee. “We are fortunate to have great supporters in our community like RaceWay Gas Stations that are willing to help us raise critical funds to support our mission in the community.” Waite added.
Drivers are encouraged to find a RaceWay location nearest to them and help the Red Cross help others one gallon at a time.
“This is a way for our community gas stations to give back to some of the great organizations in our community like the American Red Cross,” said Randy Marsh, District Manager, RaceWay Gas Stations. “Drivers have a choice when it comes to fueling up their vehicles and we hope they would consider RaceWay Gas Stations nearest them because of how their purchase can help us help the Red Cross.”
Raceway Locations not taking part in the Fill Up & Fuel Relief fundraising program will be taking part in a Customer Donation program, encouraging customers to donate at any local Raceway Store to support Disaster Relief and the mission of the American Red Cross. “Every donation, whether big or small, can help your friends and neighbors down the street and across the country,” Waite added. “A simple switch of where you fill up for gas can help us help others in our community post-disaster and that switch and in turn donation is so greatly appreciated.”
