Debra Roberson Named Chapter Executive for Northwest TN

I am very excited and look forward to providing leadership to this chapter. I am truly proud to be a part of your great team and to have the opportunity to provide even greater service to Northwest Tennessee in the years to come.

Debra Roberson was welcomed as the Chapter Executive of the American Red Cross, Northwest TN Chapter earlier this month. As Chapter Executive, Roberson will provide support and leadership to the seven counties in Tennessee that the chapter services: Crockett, Dyer, Lake, Lauderdale, Obion, and Weakley.

A native of Dyersburg, Roberson has served the area in various leadership roles as an employee and as a volunteer. Both as a nurse and a non-profit administrator, Roberson has proven that she is an exceptional team player and leader. In her previous role at the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund, Roberson was recognized with the Outstanding Service Award. Some of Roberson’s other achievements and positions include:

  • 2008 Dyer County Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year
  • Current Committee Member for the Dyersburg Christmas Parade
  • Current Member of the Board of Directors for the Dyersburg Youth Bowling Association
  • Current Committee Member for the Kevin Edgin Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament
  • Past President of the Dyersburg Breakfast Rotary Club
  • “Together, with the Board, staff and volunteers, the Northwest Chapter is pleased to have Debra take us to the next level at our chapter. Client service is our most important focus and Debra will work closely with our donors, partners, volunteers, and the public to steward those relationships and make sure the Red Cross is there when the community needs us.” Jason Cannon, Board Chairman commented.
