Local Red Cross Responds to Boerne House Explosion
We are glad to be here to provide a bit of comfort and hope as they begin the recovery process.

Volunteers from both the San Antonio and Hill Country Chapters of the American Red Cross responded to a home explosion in Boerne on Tuesday. Disaster workers were on hand to provide shelter, immediate needs and comfort to three families that were impacted.

"It's always devastating to see families lose their homes to a fire," said Jacques DuBose, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Serving the Texas Hill Country. "This is an especially shocking and tragic circumstance, and our thoughts are with the affected families and their community. We are glad to be here to provide a bit of comfort and hope as they begin the recovery process."
