Grab a friend and join over 100 volunteers hitting the streets of City Heights on Saturday, May 18 to educate residents on lifesaving fire safety information.
The Red Cross responds to more home fires than any other type of disaster, helping the victims of over 170 fires a day across the country; in San Diego and Imperial Counties alone, our Chapter responds to a disaster almost once every 24 hours. Spreading the message of fire safety can help prevent fires and reduce this number. You are helping to keep people safe, and that's a crucial responsibility!
Did we mention volunteers will receive a FREE breakfast, lunch AND Red Cross t-shirt?
*Note: You do not have to be a registered Red Cross volunteer to participate.
