MLK Day of Service in DFW

Red Cross volunteers distributing information

To celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Red Cross volunteers are invited to participate in a Day of Service where we'll be distributing fire safety information to communities throughout DFW. Join us in going door-to-door to talk to residents about the importance of fire safety and hand out information about maintaining working smoke alarms, creating an escape plan and cooking heating at home safely.

The American Red Cross responds to more than 70,000 disasters every year, with more than 90% being fire-related. Unlike some disasters, most home fires can be prevented. Make a difference this MLK Day by making your community more safe.

Any individual, family, group or company can participate in this Day of Service. Come alone or with a group to any of these locations. RSVP is not required and it is free to participate. If you have any questions, please call 817.928.1393.
